As a modern institution of medical and allied health professions education, Jinnah Sindh Medical University has established itself as the largest medical university in the province of Sindh. Starting with one medical college in 2012 to 11 institutions in 2022, JSMU has rapidly expanded its repertoire of high quality institutions responding to the needs of the healthcare sector in Sindh.
In the next phase of its development, JSMU is poised to consolidate its progress through strengthening of systems and innovations in its delivery of service. Modern curricula, emphasis on capacity building in teaching and training, and an environment encouraging research, are the strengths of the University. With special focus on building linkages with national and international institutions of repute, JSMU will be expanding its role in the medical education sector with renewed spirit and zeal.
